Polysorbate 21

 Polysorbate 21, also known as polyoxyethylene (4) monolaurate consists of sorbitol, ethylene oxide, and lauric acid. It has a molecular formula of C26H50O10. At room temperature, it is in the form of a pale-yellow to a yellow viscous liquid. It is an O/W emulsifier with an HLB value of 13.3. It is soluble in methanol, ethanol, glycol, ethyl acetate.
